I shot this aerial footage over the Nooksack River in Deming, WA while staying there. For the music, I started with playing the french horn along with the footage to capture the majestic feel of the location and to identify a tune. Once I had something I was happy with all the way through I went back and added some high strings and flute to match the altitude of the flight and give a suspended feeling. Then some rhythmic strings come in along with a trumpet to add some movement and additional interest. The bass drum and timpani sound occasionally to bring in some depth.
